Teenagers

Welcome to the page for our new SHaPE grouip for older teenagers at St Mary's. The group is led by Andrena Palmer our youth worker with help and support from other members of the Congregation. Shape

is the group for older teenagers meeting on Sunday mornings and joining the rest of the congregation for Communion. The group is currently studying material from Urban Saints, with music, discussion, bible study, chocolate, games and craft.

They also studied "And who is my Neighbour?" when they thought about the Woodford area, and how we could pray for the people who live here.

Andrena Palmer

is our youth worker. Andrena says about herself:
I’m… old enough to know better (!) I currently live in Catford, South East London and studied Business Information Systems at University in Bristol. I am a big fan of holidays; I love the sun and I enjoy lying on a beach with a good book, as well as going to America or Jamaica to visit family. I am also a big fan of CAKE - any flavour - and going to the theatre for comedy and musicals (the Lion King is my favourite). My previous job roles mainly been in retail management, but I listened and responded to my call to youth ministry and started a new career two years ago.
