It is
said that many people today believe there is a spiritual dimension to life,
while not regarding themselves as religious; they find institutional
churches difficult to penetrate.
We provide discussion groups and teaching about the basics of the Christian
Faith in a context people will find helpful, often in local homes. Groups
are open to all, with 'no strings attached' about what may or may not
follow.
Enquirer
groups aimed at covering the basics of Christian teaching are normally
conducted in a local home and led by local people rather than the clergy.
Other groups with more detailed teaching take place on church premises for
those wishing to further and develop their faith. Again membership of these
groups is not restricted to church members.
Various
permanent House Groups also exist in which a mixture of teaching, discussion
and fellowship take place.
Use of the ‘Emmaus’ series of courses is often made and there are ‘Prayer
Groups’ that meet as well.
