Welcome to St Mary's

Welcome to St Mary's. We are the historic Parish Church of Woodford in north-east London. We seek to live the Christian message at the heart of the local community. Whether you are looking for a church or just browsing, we wish you all God's blessings and that we meet in person one day

We meet for worship each Sunday at:

8am - Holy Communion - a quiet reflective service (Book of Common Prayer 1st & 3rd Sundays)
10.00am - Sung Eucharist and Sermon (with parallel activities for children; but all together once each month)
6.30pm - Sung Evensong and Sermon with the traditional Prayer Book, a choir and special music for festival Sundays.

Our weekday services in the Chapel:

are usually at 9.00am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
and 10.30am and 7.30pm on Wednesdays.
There is no service on Fridays.

We pray

for the world and the local community on a 6 week cycle

This year is the 40th anniversary of the rededication of St Mary's after the fire. Were you married or baptised in the “new” St Mary’s? As part of the celebrations, we are looking for photos, wedding dresses and baptismal gowns for a display. If you would like to help please get in touch with Sally Barton.
